The impressionistic style effects contributed highly to this floral subject. The tiny blooms, petals and stems come together to create a flutter of flowers placed on shelves possibly inside a hot house in a tiny flower shop; a very delicate and pretty collection.

I begin a painting with an under-painting with multiple colors applied randomly. This sets up a backdrop and a base to react to. This allows for surprise pops of color to pop through the top layers. These layers are applied gingerly with consideration to reserve these as the painting progresses. In this case, quite a few pops are happening.

The painting is sealed with mat varnish and the sides are painted dark charcoal. The painting is complete, signed, with wire attached, ready to hang on your wall.

Original artwork is packaged and shipped from Arizona US directly from me.

Prints

Prints are available as canvas transfer or giclee on archival paper. They are printed with high quality ink and UV sealed for protection. Canvas transfers are stretched onto wood support bars and present as a top quality painting. I prefer deep canvas with 1/5″ sides which will be painted a complimentary color.
